THE SUKHA LIFE
LIABILITY WAIVER, RELEASE & ASSUMPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY

By participating in services, sessions, programs, events, or offerings provided by The Sukha Life, The Live Easy Method, and any affiliated practitioners, teachers, contractors, or representatives (collectively referred to as “The Sukha Life”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation in these offerings—including but not limited to sound bath sessions, breathwork, meditation, energy-based practices, coaching, group sessions, workshops, and self-guided experiences—is entirely voluntary.
I understand that these experiences may involve a variety of physical, emotional, mental, or energetic sensations, and that each person’s experience is unique.

2. Complementary Wellness Practices
I understand that the services offered by The Sukha Life and the Live Easy Method are complementary wellness practices and are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatments.
I acknowledge that:

• These offerings are not a replacement for medical care, mental health care, diagnosis, or treatment.

• I am encouraged to consult with a licensed healthcare or mental health professional regarding any medical or psychological conditions.

• The Live Easy Method does not guarantee nervous system regulation, emotional outcomes, or specific results.
   

3. Personal Responsibility
I affirm that I am responsible for my own well-being before, during, and after participation. I agree to listen to my body, honor my limits, and modify or discontinue participation as needed. I agree to inform the facilitator of any relevant conditions that may affect my experience.

4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Sukha Life, The Live Easy Method, and all affiliated owners, facilitators, employees, contractors, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind—whether known or unknown—arising out of or related to my participation.
This release includes, but is not limited to, claims related to physical discomfort, emotional responses, mental or energetic experiences, or any other effects associated with participation.

5. California Civil Code Section 1542
I expressly waive the provisions of California Civil Code Section 1542, which states:
“A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in their favor at the time of executing the release…”
I acknowledge that I may later discover facts or circumstances different from what I know now, but I nevertheless intend this release to apply fully.

6. Photo & Video Release
I understand that photographs or video recordings may be taken during sessions or events. I grant permission for The Sukha Life to use such images or recordings for marketing, promotional, educational, or informational purposes without compensation.
If I do not wish to be photographed or recorded, I understand it is my responsibility to notify The Sukha Life in writing prior to participation.

7. Binding Agreement
This agreement shall be binding upon me and my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives. If any portion of this waiver is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
 
Acknowledgment & Consent
I confirm that I have read and understood this waiver and voluntarily agree to participate in these offerings.

Cancellation Policy
Group Sessions (In-Studio Only)
All in-studio group sessions require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session, or failure to attend, are non-refundable and not eligible for credit.

Private & On-Location Experiences
For private bookings, events, and on-location experiences, the following policy applies:

• Full payment (100%) is due at the time of booking, with 50% of the total fee being non-refundable.

• The remaining 50% may be refunded only if the booking is canceled at least 7 days prior to the scheduled experience.

• Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled experience are non-refundable.

Additional Notes

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

• This policy applies regardless of reason, including illness, travel issues, or scheduling conflicts.

• By booking a session or experience, you agree to this cancellation policy.
